MLS Billing Policies
Effective January 1, 2008

The outlined policies apply to all applicable MLS service fees, computer services, and books.

On the 20th of each month (or the nearest work day to the 20th) MLS Invoices will be created for the subsequent month. Invoices for Multiple Listing Services are due on the 1st of the month for which service is granted. Each MLS Participant (Designated REALTOR®) will be billed at the fee rate times the number of participants and subscribers in the office. For example: if the fee rate is $29 and there are nine agents and the broker in Office A, the broker (MLS Participant) will be billed $29 X 10 or $290.

MLS fees are due on the 1st of the month for which service is granted, late charges and penalties will apply according to the following schedule:

# Days
Past Due
 Consequences and Fee Schedule
30  A 5% late charge.
45  A total of a 10% late charge and the company will be suspended from the service. Upon
payment of all current and past fees and a $50 reactivation fee, service will be activated.
60  A total of a 15% late charge. Upon payment of all current and past fees and a $100
reactivation fee, service will be activated.
91  MLS Membership is Terminated. Account balance will be turned over to the Credit
Bureau. In addition to remitting all current and past due fees, to reactivate service, all
participants and subscribers must pay the Application Fees to re-join the MLS. Current
application fees are $150 per participant and $65 per subscriber; these fees are subject to
change. For example, there are nine agents and the broker in Office A; the Application
fees payable would be $150 plus $65 X 9 or $735. Plus above late charges.

Returned Checks
A service fee, to be determined from time to time by the Finance Committee, shall be assessed for a returned check. The account is considered unpaid and subject to the above fee schedule, including the returned check service fee.

Please note: in order for a Participant not to be charged for an agent by TBR, the Board must have made the agent inactive by the 20th day of the preceding month for which service is billed. The Board requires a FREC form 2050 (formerly 400.5). Please remember, sending a form to FREC is not sufficient, a copy must be submitted to the Board.

These policies may be amended from time to time at the request of the MLS and Finance Committee and must be approved by the Board of Directors of the Tallahassee Board of REALTORS®.
